Griesser ATLAS NAMES JACK GRIFFIN CEO Atlas World Group, Inc., the parent company of Atlas Van Lines, has named Jack Griffin CEO and vice chairman of the board. Griffin most recently served as president and chief operating officer. Former CEO Glen Dunkerson will continue to serve as chairman of the board through 2017. "Having had the pleasure to work alongside Jack for nearly a decade, I can tell you there is no one more fit to lead Atlas into the future," says Dunkerson. "His unwavering respect for our agency network and customers has right - fully earned him this significant responsibility and opportunity." Griffin has more than 20 years of experi- ence in the domestic household goods, special products, and international segments of the transportation industry. Since being appointed president and COO of Atlas World Group in 2010, he has expanded Atlas' footprint in the industry and facilitated the development of new programs and initiatives. "I am honored to assume this leadership role to carry out our strategic vision," says Griffin. "I am committed to acquiring and allocating the necessary resources and leadership to support our most important initiatives that will take us into the new decade, while carrying on the com - pany's tradition of impacting the communities in which we operate." Griffin has led the implementation of tools and programs to attract new customer bases, such as millennials and the Spanish-speaking community. As a passionate advocate of the company's green efforts, Griffin led the charge on a new sustainabil - ity program aimed to help Atlas' nearly 500 agents become more environmentally conscious. Outside of his work with Atlas World Group and Worldwide ERC ® membership, Griffin is an active member of the International Association of Movers, the American Moving and Storage Association, and the Society of Human Resource Management. He also serves as chairman of the Moving & Storage Institute, the philanthropic arm of AMSA, which raises awareness and facili - tates the development of the moving and storage industry through educational opportunities such as scholarships, training events, and certification programs. In addition, Griffin recently completed a two-year term as chairman of the Evansville (Indiana) Tri-State American Heart Association. BHHS FOX & ROACH ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP POSITIONS Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors, and The Trident Group have made changes in several important leadership positions in the Trident Group of companies, effective January 1. Gerard F. Griesser is now vice chairman of BHHS Fox & Roach, Realtors, and The Trident Group. Griesser will work with Chairman and CEO Larry Flick IV to guide the direction of the company. He is a member of the board of direc - tors of Fox Roach/Trident–Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors, and the chief executive officer of The Trident Group, comprising Trident Mortgage Co., Trident Land Transfer Co., and Trident Insurance Agency. His day-to-day responsibilities include establishing the vision and providing the direction for all Trident companies. Prior to 1985, Griesser spent 14 years in the commercial banking industry in various management positions. Griesser joined Roach Brothers Realtors, the predecessor company to Fox Roach/Trident, in 1985 and established The Trident Group of companies. Over the last 20 years, Griesser has been on the board of directors of three publicly traded companies. He was the 2003 chairman of the Real Estate Settlement Providers Council (RESPRO), a national settlement services organization located in Washington, D.C.
